Senior Ballet Dance Instructor

About the role

As a Dance Teacher at Dancepointe Academy, you will teach classical ballet to students, preparing engaging resources and identifying individual student needs to support their development. You will participate in academy events including concerts and public performances, conduct parent-teacher interviews, and maintain professional standards in appearance and conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare interesting resources for the classroom
• Identify student's needs and work to help each child develop his or her own potential
• Participate in Dancepointe Academy events such as concerts and public performances
• Conduct parent-teacher interviews and open house twice yearly
• Attend professional development sessions to improve teaching methods and maintain curriculum currency
• Present a professional image in dressing and personality at all times

About you

• Min RAD / CSTD Advanced One Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma/Degree
• Teaching experience preferred
• RAD Teaching Certificate considered an added advantage
• Self-motivated and independent
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
