STRAIGHT 8 BARBERS — KAMLOOPS & VERNON

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and shop in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client results and increase sales.
• Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing.
• Communicate clearly with clients about their desired styles and provide aftercare recommendations.
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related cosmetology fields.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and promote services.
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions.
• Basic proficiency in retail sales, front desk operations, and appointment management.
