Set the Bar, Not Just the Grinder

Stolen Stores is where fashion, art, and craftsmanship meet innovation with a knowing smile. Home to Stolen Studios and ONARIN, we curate collectives that help people connect with their undiscovered originality.

Stolen Sala is our green rooftop café and restaurant, where light, space, and soulful plates come together, quietly stealing your morning.

We are looking for a Senior Barista to take ownership of the bar: the coffee, the consistency, and the people learning beside you. Community Crafted.

⸻

Who You Will Work With

You will work directly with our Head of Beverage, a barista who has competed at national level, on how our coffee tastes and how our drinks are built.

If you have ever wanted someone at that level in your corner while you develop your own palate and your own menu ideas, this is the seat.

⸻

What You Will Do

• Own the quality of every cup that leaves the bar, yours and everyone else's
• Dial in, taste, and hold consistency through the day, not just at open
• Train and develop our junior baristas, from extraction to milk to guest recommendations
• Guide guests through the menu with confidence, and turn a question into a discovery
• Manage bar stock, ordering, and waste with an eye on cost
• Keep the bar and the cart sharp, clean, and ready, always
• Bring ideas to the menu and help shape where our drinks go next

⸻

What We Are Looking For

• Real experience behind a specialty bar, ideally two years or more, with time spent leading a shift
• Command of the fundamentals: dosing, extraction, grinder adjustment, milk texture, latte art
• The instinct to taste and correct before anyone tells you something is off
• Someone who teaches generously and holds a standard without hardness
• Curiosity about coffee that did not stop at the last place you worked
• Care for the craft, in the cup and in how the bar looks while you work
• Teamwork makes the dream work

A strong advantage:

• Experience behind an alcohol bar, or a real interest in learning it
• Drinks creation, signature builds, or anything you have put your own name to

We are opening into the evening before long, and the bar will grow with it. Someone who can move between coffee and cocktails has room to go a long way here.

⸻

What We Are Not Looking For

• Muscle memory without curiosity
• Speed at the cost of the cup
• Anyone who thinks cleaning is beneath a senior
• Knowledge kept to yourself

⸻

Is This a Real Job?

Yes, and a real bar to build on. We are raising our standards deliberately, and the person in this seat has genuine influence over how the coffee here tastes and how the team gets better.

Base salary reflects your level, from 19,000 for a strong lead barista upward for someone ready to run the bar, plus service charge.
