Senior Basis Administrator

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Basis Administrator to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will be responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of critical SAP environments that support enterprise operations. You will partner closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure system health, strengthen resilience, and support ongoing technical improvements. The position plays a key role in guiding upgrades, tuning performance, and helping shape architecture and operational strategy for a complex SAP landscape.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $102,100 – $153,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Ensure always-on SAP system performance and reliability
• Strengthen system resilience and disaster readiness
• Drive performance optimization and system health
• Lead upgrades and technical enhancements
• Partner on SAP architecture and roadmap planning
• Own incident, change, and problem management outcomes
• Optimize operational processes and automation
• Collaborate across teams to deliver business value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of SAP Basis administration experience
• Proven success managing complex SAP environments, including ERP and BW/BW4HANA
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple SAP platforms
• Strong experience in SAP ERP 6.0+ and BW/BW4HANA environments
• Deep technical knowledge of SAP architecture and performance tuning
• Experience with Java and/or ABAP-based environments
• Effective communicator across technical and business teams
