Senior BD Manager

Experience Requirements

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in business development, tendering, and bid preparation within infrastructure consultancy.
• Proven success in bidding for the following services:

o Feasibility Studies

o Detailed Project Reports (DPR)

o Detailed Engineering Designs (Roads, Highways, Bridges)

o Topographical & Cadastral Surveys

o Geotechnical Investigations & Testing

o Traffic & Transportation Studies

• Strong working relationships with government bodies and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete tendering lifecyclefrom opportunity identification to final submission.
• Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFQs, EOIs to ensure alignment with technical and commercial expectations.
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) and external partners.
• Guide and mentor junior team members on proposal writing, compliance, formatting, and workflows.
• Oversee structured reviews, brainstorming sessions, and red-team evaluations to ensure bid quality.
• Ensure timely and compliant submissions via government and institutional e-tendering portals.

• Exhibit strong leadership with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Encourage knowledge sharing, mentoring, and upskilling across the team.
• Act as a strategic liaison between business goals and technical teams.
• Motivate team members, resolve conflicts proactively, and foster a positive and productive work culture.

• Strong technical writing and proposal structuring skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and document control systems.
