Senior BI Developer

Details Description: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role partners with business stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards, reports, and data models that deliver meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, dashboards, and reports.
• Develop underlying data models for reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers and the data platform team to ensure that the data available for reporting is aligned with the needs of business end users.
• Perform BI tool administrative tasks, including managing licenses, access groups, and setting up new users.
• Provide training support for reporting tools.
• Independently identify and pursue data and process improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience navigating and scavenging data from relational databases.
• Experience with data prep tools to filter, join, and transform data from multiple disparate sources (SQL, python, PySpark, Tableau Prep, Power Query, or similar tools).
• Experience creating reports in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Experience selling your analysis and insights to drive action leading to better business outcomes.
• Self-driven learner.
