Senior BIM Engineer

Job Purpose:

Defines the primary purpose of the position, summarizes its core responsibilities, and explains its role in achieving the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design and construction drawings in accordance with approved specifications.
• Prepare architectural drawings and detailed execution drawings for projects.
• Ensure that drawings comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and approved specifications.
• Participate in coordinating architectural drawings with structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
• Develop BIM models using Revit in accordance with project requirements.
• Participate in identifying and resolving clashes between architectural works and other disciplines using coordination tools and Navisworks.
• Review comments received from consultants and clients/owners and implement the required modifications.
• Prepare and update As-Built drawings in accordance with the works executed on site.
• Participate in reviewing architectural materials and finishes and ensure their compliance with approved specifications and designs.
• Perform any other duties or tasks assigned within the scope of the position or as required in the interest of the business, provided that such duties do not conflict with the company’s approved regulations, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering .
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural works, design, and technical office activities.
• Good knowledge of Navisworks and BIM Tools is a must.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with 3D Max, Lumion, Corona, and Photoshop.
• Experience in preparing execution drawings, Shop Drawings, and architectural details.
• Good knowledge of applicable codes, technical specifications, and design and execution standards.
• Experience in coordinating architectural works with other engineering disciplines.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to prepare and review As-Built Drawings.
• Membership in the Engineers Syndicate.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
