We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to help architect, build, and scale secure, high-performance blockchain infrastructure and decentralized applications across the DeCruiz Labs ecosystem.

In this role, you will design and develop smart contracts, blockchain-based systems, backend services, APIs, wallet integrations, and Web3 infrastructure for products involving DeFi, DEX functionality, staking, governance, tokenized assets, gaming ecosystems, and cross-chain solutions.

You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, frontend developers, DevOps, security teams, and leadership to deliver scalable, production-grade decentralized systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts and blockchain protocols

• Build and maintain decentralized applications across multiple blockchain networks

• Develop core blockchain integrations for DeFi, DEX, Web3 gaming, and tokenized real-estate platforms

• Implement token standards, staking systems, governance mechanisms, and DeFi-related features

• Build backend services, APIs, and middleware connecting blockchain and off-chain systems

• Integrate wallets, blockchain nodes, smart contracts, and Web3 libraries

• Optimize smart contracts for gas efficiency, performance, and security

• Lead architecture decisions related to scalability, interoperability, and blockchain infrastructure

• Conduct code reviews, smart contract testing, and security-focused development

• Collaborate with auditors and security teams to reduce protocol and smart contract risks

• Research and integrate emerging blockchain technologies, Layer 2 networks, and cross-chain protocols

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices

Tech stack may include Solidity, Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, Layer 2 ecosystems, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Ethers.js, Web3.js, viem, Hardhat, Foundry, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Git, CI/CD, and blockchain infrastructure tools.

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Blockchain Engineer with strong expertise in smart contract development, blockchain architecture, distributed systems, and Web3 infrastructure.

Required profile:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• 3+ years of hands-on blockchain/Web3 development experience

• Strong experience with Solidity and smart contract development

• Strong experience with Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, and/or Layer 2 ecosystems

• Experience designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade smart contracts

• Strong understanding of DeFi, DEX architecture, staking, governance, liquidity systems, and blockchain fundamentals

• Experience building decentralized applications and blockchain-based backend systems

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and backend architecture

• Experience with Web3 libraries and tools such as Ethers.js, Web3.js, viem, Hardhat, or Foundry

• Good understanding of blockchain security, smart contract vulnerabilities, gas optimization, and secure wallet integrations

• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps environments

• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote or distributed team

• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and attention to detail

• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Web3 gaming, NFT ecosystems, tokenized real estate, or real-world asset platforms

• Experience with DEX protocols, AMMs, liquidity pools, or staking protocols

• Knowledge of cross-chain protocols, bridges, Layer 2 scaling, or zero-knowledge systems

• Experience with Rust, Golang, Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot, or other non-EVM ecosystems

• Experience with smart contract audits, formal verification, or open-source blockchain projects

• Startup, crypto, fintech, or high-growth Web3 company experience

• The ideal candidate is security-minded, autonomous, proactive, and comfortable taking technical ownership of complex blockchain products from architecture to production.
