Senior BMS Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop Building Management System (BMS) layouts, schematics, control philosophies, and technical documentation. Coordinate BMS integration with Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems for Data Centre projects.

2. Prepare specification and requirements, Schedule of Technical Data, Design Drawing, Tender Drawing and Construction Drawing documentation.

3. Attend project meetings, client discussions, workshop, technical coordination meetings, and presentations.

4. Carry out site supervision, site inspection and ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, requirements and standards.

5. Coordinate with other consultants, architect, C&S Engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

6. Review and verify BMS Schedule of Input/Output Points, Equipment and System Sequence of Operation (SOO), network architecture, BMS Main Hardware, network equipment, submittals, shop drawing, as-built drawing and Operation & Maintenance Manual.

7. Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Commissioning activities (Cx1 to Cx5), SAT/FAT activities, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

8. Monitor project progress, technical compliance, standards and site quality requirements.

9. Assist project management team on project planning, reporting, and technical coordination, installation and quality of works.

10. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

11. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers/designers where required.

12. Able to work independently with less supervision and guidance.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering .

• Required skill(s): Working experience in BMS Contractors Company, good technical knowledge in BMS services.

• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
