Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior BMS / HVAC Engineer with strong experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC systems, controls integration, and critical facility operations. The successful candidate will support the design, review, implementation, commissioning, and optimization of building systems for commercial buildings and data centers. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines hands-on technical expertise with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and is comfortable working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Building Management Systems (BMS)

• Design, review, and optimize BMS architectures and control strategies.Configure, troubleshoot, and support commissioning of BMS and building automation systems.Review control narratives, I/O schedules, points lists, and system integration requirements.Support integration of HVAC, power monitoring, metering, and other building systems into centralizedplatforms.
• Conduct functional testing and performance verification of BMS installations.
• Assist in developing dashboards, reports, alarms, trends, and graphical user interfaces.
• HVAC Systems
• Review and assess HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, CRAHs, and CRACs.
• Evaluate HVAC control sequences and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of HVAC systems.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and retro-commissioning activities.

Data Center & Critical Facilities

• Support assessments and technical reviews of data center mechanical and control systems.
• Review cooling infrastructure performance, redundancy strategies, and operational resilience.
• Assist in monitoring and analysis of key performance metrics such as PUE and cooling efficiency.
• Participate in integrated systems testing and commissioning activities for mission-critical facilities.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors during project delivery.

Data Analytics & Digital Solutions

• Analyze building performance, operational trends, and system data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational decision-making.
• Identify performance issues and recommend optimization measures.
• Support implementation of smart building and digital monitoring solutions.

Project Delivery

• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, engineering calculations, and client deliverables.
• Support proposal development and technical tender evaluations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Preferred / Optional Responsibilities

The following experience is considered an advantage but is not required:

• Support energy audits and building energy assessments.
• Contribute to energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in Net Zero, solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), or decarbonization projects.
• Assist with energy analytics, measurement & verification (M&V), and benchmarking studies.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineering License (RME, REE, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in BMS, HVAC, controls, or building systems engineering.
• Experience with commercial buildings, critical facilities, industrial facilities, or data centers.
• Experience in system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
