Job Summary

Enter And Post SMC (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping operations for US-based clients. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of US bookkeeping practices, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records and meet reporting deadlines.

Experience in US tax preparation is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for US-based clients.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Manage general ledger entries, journal entries, and expense categorization.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Review financial transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Process payroll and assist with payroll-related reconciliations, where required.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and supporting records.
• Communicate professionally with US clients regarding bookkeeping queries, missing documents, and financial discrepancies.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet reporting deadlines.
• Assist with tax-related documentation and coordinate with tax professionals as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial information.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience handling bookkeeping for US-based clients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of US accounting practices and bookkeeping procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with US clients via email, phone, and video meetings.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing US individual or business tax returns.
• Knowledge of US tax forms, including W-2, 1099, and relevant business tax documents.
• Familiarity with IRS requirements and federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with tax preparation, tax documentation, and year-end reporting.
• Relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation certifications are a plus.

Note: US tax preparation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
