Role Description The Senior Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Sidney, OH, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial health. Day-to-day tasks include recording and reconciling transactions, preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and posting journal entries. The role involves regular use of accounting software to track costs, revenues, and inventory related to recycling and resin manufacturing operations. The Senior Bookkeeper will collaborate with management to provide financial reports, assist with budgeting, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. This role requires consistent on-site presence to coordinate with operations and administrative teams.

Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Bookkeeping and Finance, with experience managing day-to-day transactional accounting activities.

• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements to support business decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and accurate posting of Journal Entries (Accounting).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or recycling sectors is beneficial.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Understanding of basic tax regulations, internal controls, and standard accounting practices is an advantage.
