Senior Bookkeeper

We're Hiring a Highly Experienced Bookkeeper

Are you a detail-oriented bookkeeping professional who takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records and providing reliable financial support? We are seeking a seasoned Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time, on-premises basis in Gainesville, VA.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple accounting functions, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for multiple clients
• Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
• Process payroll and payroll-related filings (if applicable)
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial analysis
• Support tax preparation and year-end close activities
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with accounting procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
• Experience with payroll processing and financial reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Tech Savvy
