Senior Bookkeeping Specialist

We're Hiring: Senior Bookkeeping Specialist (Remote | Full-Time)

Caya is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeping Specialist to support multiple US-based business clients.

We're looking for someone who understands accounting beyond transaction entry, can independently identify discrepancies, and knows how to maintain accurate financial records.

What You'll Do:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations, A/R, and transaction categorization.
• Prepare accurate books for month-end closing, financial reviews, and tax preparation.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure proper transaction classifications.
• Maintain bookkeeping records for multiple US-based clients.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including the balance sheet, P&L, liabilities, and equity.
• Experience supporting US-based businesses.
• Familiarity with US tax-related bookkeeping and year-end preparation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear English communication.

A plus: Experience working with a US accounting or tax firm and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification.
