Senior Brand Manager

The Role:

This Senior Brand Manager role owns the flagship brand portfolio, a $130m+ business and the engine of the company. You'll report to a senior Marketing Manager and have full commercial accountability for a market leader that new challenger brands are taking on. The brief is to defend and grow its position, reconnect it with the next generation of consumers and lead a significant innovation pipeline.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own the P&L and a sizeable A&P budget, including forecasting, pricing, S&OP and monthly reconciliation to plan
• Develop and deliver the annual brand plan while building on the three-year strategy, and get cross-functional teams aligned behind it
• Shape the future portfolio: brand architecture, sub-ranges, SKU rationalisation and an innovation pipeline of 12+ launches
• Lead integrated consumer and trade communications, including digital, social and PR, with external agency partners
• Partner with senior Sales and National Account Managers across pharmacy, grocery and e-commerce, including range reviews
• Coach and develop the Assistant Brand Managers in the brand team, and support healthcare-professional engagement

What You'll Bring:

• Seasoned Senior Brand Manager experience, ideally in FMCG within health, wellness or pharmacy, with a strong track record of owning a brand end to end
• Full A-to-Z brand management skills, where brand planning, forecasting, pricing, NPD, rationalisation and deletions are second nature
• Commercial gravitas: the credibility to partner with senior Sales and drive the brand agenda like a commercial partner, not just a marketer
• Experience across pharmacy (especially Chemist Warehouse), grocery (Coles/Woolworths) and e-commerce (Amazon)
• A balance of art and science: as comfortable digging into data (IQVIA, IRI or similar) as judging a creative idea
• People leadership experience, having managed or coached at least one team member, plus a bias for action and comfort with a high degree of autonomy
