Senior Broker (Engineering Background)

Ascoma Insurance Advisor & Broker, a company of Chedid Capital Group, is looking for a Senior Broker with an engineering background , who will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients while providing tailored commercial and technical support based on their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain a portfolio of clients by providing advice and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and product diversification.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, renewals, and tailored insurance solutions.
• Negotiate with insurance companies to obtain appropriate coverage terms and competitive pricing.
• Review and manage insurance policies, endorsements, and contractual documentation.
• Handle client requests and provide technical guidance on insurance products.
• Ensure contractual documents are aligned with negotiated terms and conditions.
• Prepare reports, statistics, and claims follow-ups for clients and management.
• Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, compliance, and administration, to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with Ascoma’s international network to support multinational client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML procedures and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in engineering, preferably in a technical or insurance-related environment.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
