Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs, define project scope, and recommend technology and process-driven solutions.
• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, validation, and documentation through stakeholder discussions and workshops.
• Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Analyze current business processes and design future-state workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and related project documentation.
• Support vendor evaluations, UAT activities, and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct quality reviews of business analysis deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis and requirement gathering for large IT projects.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst on at least 2 large IT projects with GoI, State Government, or UT Government organizations.
• Strong expertise in Requirements Engineering, BRD preparation, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for requirement management and collaboration.
• Experience in business process mapping and process improvement using Visio or Lucidchart.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
