Senior Business Analyst

Job Scope: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Payments, Reconciliation, and FinTech to bridge the gap between customers, product, and engineering teams. You will play a key role in defining product requirements, driving solution design, and ensuring successful delivery of payment and reconciliation solutions for global financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Lead customer workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, workflows, and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure clear and actionable requirements.
• Perform impact assessments, effort estimation, and solution reviews.
• Support product implementation, configuration, testing, and customer onboarding.
• Conduct customer presentations, training sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure solutions align with product standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Functional Design.

• Strong domain expertise in Payments and FinTech, including:

• Merchant Acquiring

• Card Issuing (Credit, Debit, Prepaid)

• Chargebacks & Dispute Management

• Reconciliation & General Ledger

• Strong understanding of payment schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, EMV, CUP, JCB, Discover, and Diners.

• Experience with Payment Gateways, eCommerce platforms, APIs, and financial transaction processing.

• Expertise in BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Functional Specifications.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
