Senior Business Analyst – Website Redesign & Replatforming

Location: Remote within Canada

Contract Duration: October, 26th – November, 30th 2026

Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a website modernization project focused on redesigning and replatforming a digital experience using a modern headless CMS architecture.

Working closely with product leadership, designers, developers, and other stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in translating business and product needs into clear, actionable requirements that support a smooth and efficient delivery process.

This project follows a collaborative co-delivery model, with the client contributing its own development resources, DevOps capabilities, API contracts, and release management. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating cross-functional dependencies and ensuring everyone involved has a shared understanding of what needs to be built.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Turn product goals and design concepts into well-defined technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work directly with product leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve open questions.
• Help build, organize, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are refined and ready for development.
• Document business rules, functional requirements, and dependencies so technical teams can execute with confidence.
• Coordinate requirements across teams, particularly where delivery depends on client-managed APIs or external technical resources.
• Facilitate communication between product, design, and engineering to keep implementation aligned with the intended experience.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, and potential delivery risks early in the process.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on website redesigns, CMS implementations, or digital replatforming initiatives.
• Strong understanding of website functionality, content management requirements, and modern digital experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to write detailed requirements, user stories, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Experience partnering with product managers and engineering teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity to complex requirements.
• Comfort working in collaborative delivery models involving multiple teams and shared responsibilities.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale website modernization or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with API integrations, technical dependencies, and cross-team delivery coordination.
