Senior Business Analyst – Investment Services & Securities – Brussels

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Invest & Financial Insurances Tribe at BNP Paribas Fortis, working on the development of new Investment Services and their regulatory compliance.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Languages: Fluent English + strong Dutch or French

Mission

You will contribute to the evolution of Investment Services and Securities Handling, working closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders and development teams, with a strong focus on SRD 2 regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define business and functional requirements for SRD 2 compliance

• Perform impact analysis covering business, regulatory, legal and process requirements

• Translate business needs into features and actionable requirements

• Refine solutions with the Product Owner and contribute to cost estimation and business cases

• Ensure development teams have all required information

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies

• Report project status to stakeholders and Tribe management

• Lead change activities, including launch, go-to-market and IT releases

• Facilitate discussions with Sales, Legal, Compliance and other stakeholders

• Lead workshops and challenge business requirements when needed

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis and Securities Handling

• Strong knowledge of Investment Products & Services

• Proven experience in Securities Handling

• Experience in Retail and Private Banking

• Strong experience in Business Analysis and Agile Project Management

• Ability to translate ideas into features and business requirements

• Experience leading business workshops

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
