Senior Business Analyst / Solution Designer

Overview Common context Domain: Telecom BSS transformation, focused on Product Catalog and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ)

Tech stack: Java microservices, ReactJS, cloud-native deployment

Ways of working: GenAI-accelerated SDLC (AI-assisted requirements, design, coding, testing and documentation)

Experience: 8-12 years, with at least 4 years in Telco BSS

Role summary: Translate business needs into solution designs for Product Catalog and CPQ programs, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams.

Responsibilities Responsibilities

• Run requirement workshops with business and product teams, and turn them into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design product catalog models: product specifications, offerings, bundles, pricing, eligibility and compatibility rules, and lifecycle management.
• Define CPQ flows covering configuration, pricing and discounting, quote generation, approvals and order handoff.
• Prepare functional designs, process flows, API/integration specifications and data mappings for adjacent BSS/OSS systems (CRM, Order Management, Billing, Inventory).
• Support solution fit-gap analysis, estimation and impact assessment.
• Use GenAI tools to speed up requirement drafting, story refinement, test scenario generation and documentation.
• Support UAT and defect triage, and make sure delivery stays aligned with the agreed design.

Requirements Required skills

• Strong Telco BSS domain knowledge, specifically Product Catalog and CPQ.
• Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs such as TMF620 and TMF648).
• Experience writing API-driven, microservices-oriented functional specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Hands-on use of GenAI assistants in analysis and documentation.

Good to have: Experience with commercial catalog/CPQ platforms, Agile/SAFe delivery, and basic understanding of Java/React-based architectures.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
