Senior Business Developer

Join Nike's European Headquarters (EHQ) and help shape the future of the Marketplace ecosystem across EMEA. As a Senior Marketplace Business Development Professional, you will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, translating market insights into strategic recommendations, and driving marketplace excellence across multiple countries and channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys turning data into action and influencing business decisions on a regional scale.

This is a temporary assignment until October 2027.

What are you going to do?

• Identify and unlock marketplace growth opportunities through advanced data analysis, market research, and consumer insights.
• Support the development and execution of Nike's EMEA Marketplace strategy, helping drive sustainable business growth.
• Analyze marketplace performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across EMEA to ensure successful strategy implementation and operational excellence.
• Translate complex data into compelling business stories, reports, and presentations that support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and emerging consumer trends to keep Nike ahead of the game.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize marketplace performance and enhance partner success

As part of the Marketplace Business Development team, you will contribute to the growth of Nike Marketplace Partners across EMEA, helping create future-focused marketplace strategies that strengthen Nike's position across sports, channels, and consumer touchpoints.

What do we ask?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, market research, marketplace development, city mapping, strategy, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, visualization, and storytelling.
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset with an understanding of marketplace dynamics and consumer trends.
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, or marketplace strategy.
• Familiarity with retail, wholesale, e-commerce, or marketplace environments is highly preferred.
• Experience with tools such as SQL, Snowflake and ArcGIS are a nice to have.
• Experience with tools such as Tableau, Circana, Euromonitor, Edited, or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse functions and levels.
• A proactive, curious, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
• Coding experience, specifically with Cursor
