Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to support company growth
• Identify and evaluate investment, acquisition, and partnership opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, utilities, and financial institutions
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis for investment decisions
• Lead commercial negotiations, due diligence, and transaction execution
• Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, Development, and Operations
• Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to senior leadership
• Represent the company at industry events and strengthen business networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business development, M&A, project finance, investment management, or a related field within the energy industry
• Strong knowledge of U.S. power markets and energy industry trends
• Experience evaluating and executing investment, acquisition, or partnership opportunities
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of project finance, tax equity, and power purchase agreements (PPAs)
• MBA or advanced degree
