Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong client relationships in the Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, Vehicle Import & Automotive Business sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with individual and corporate clients.

• Generate leads and acquire new customers for customs clearance and freight forwarding services.

• Develop business related to vehicle importation, purchase and sales.

• Handle clients who purchase vehicles from Japan and other international markets and require assistance with documentation, customs clearance and delivery in Pakistan.

• Explain the complete process and services to clients, including documentation, clearance and vehicle delivery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Conduct regular client meetings and outdoor market visits to generate new business.

• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate terms with clients.

• Follow up with leads and convert potential clients into confirmed business.

• Coordinate with the Operations and Documentation teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Maintain regular records of leads, client meetings, follow-ups and business generated.

• Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.

• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities in the automotive and forwarding industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a relevant field.

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Business Development / Sales.

• Experience in Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, Vehicle Import or Automotive Sales will be highly preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation and client-handling skills.

• Good knowledge of business development and customer acquisition.

• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

• Target-oriented, confident and self-motivated.

• Willing to travel for client meetings and outdoor business development activities.

• Good command of English and MS Office.
