Senior Business Process Designer

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Business Process Designer to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work on strategic business process improvement initiatives within our organization. As a Senior Business Process Designer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes across the company. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into streamlined, efficient processes that drive operational excellence and support our digital transformation objectives. This role is essential to our commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction across departments
• Design and document comprehensive business process models, workflows, and standard operating procedures using industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units to gather requirements, understand pain points, and define process objectives
• Develop detailed process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to facilitate communication and implementation of process changes
• Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state processes, recommending solutions and best practices
• Support the implementation of new processes, providing training and guidance to ensure successful adoption across the organization
• Monitor process performance metrics and KPIs, preparing reports and recommendations for ongoing optimization
• Work closely with systems analysts and IT teams to ensure business processes align with technology solutions and system capabilities
• Lead process improvement projects from inception through completion, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging methodologies, and process optimization trends

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional experience in business process design, business analysis, or process improvement within complex IT or corporate environments
• Advanced proficiency with business process modeling tools such as BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and translating business needs into technical specifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and technical stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Project management experience with proven track record of delivering process improvement initiatives on time and within scope
• Professional certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and IT systems integration is preferred
• Knowledge of change management principles and experience supporting organizational change initiatives
