Senior Business Systems Analyst – SharePoint Developer/Administrator

Overview

DAVTEQ is seeking an experienced SharePoint professional to support a transportation agency program in San Jose. This is a hands-on role. We need someone who has built and implemented SharePoint solutions, not only administered them.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and implement SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and document management solutions
• Create, test, and maintain automated workflows (Power Automate or comparable tools) that streamline business processes
• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into working SharePoint solutions
• Administer the SharePoint environment, including permissions, site structure, and ongoing maintenance
• Support end users day to day, including account access and password creation, reset, and retrieval
• Document configurations, workflows, and user procedures

Required qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in SharePoint development and implementation (not administration alone)
• Demonstrated experience creating and deploying workflows
• Strong SharePoint administration skills
• Experience supporting end users and resolving access and password issues
• Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose at least 3 days per week

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Public-sector or transportation experience
• Business systems analysis background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $128,960.00 - $140,192.00 per year
