Senior Buyer (Facility and Construction work)

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for purchasing and price negotiation goods and support construction work for all machine order / project work / general work.
• Monitor the market condition and Suppliers’ performance and delivery time, ensure that purchasing system and all document are properly updated and maintained.
• Support the organizational goals in achieving total user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender for all facility, safety work and other which get assigned from supervisor.
• Manages vendors to improve quality, delivery and service performance.
• Involves the purchase of critical and complex items which required specialized knowledge.
• Participates in vendor qualification and problem resolution with vendors.
• Provides purchasing activities reports to suppliers (weekly re-schedule / weekly forecast / maintain supplier lead-time).
• Manage and control the supplier's database to be sufficient and able to run quickly.
• Perform other duties as properly assigned by Manager. (together with the committee to inspect the goods, inspect the work, buy off all work, visit the vendor evaluation).
• Review and ensure purchase order does not create excess inventory, otherwise PPV/Excess must be approved by Purchasing Manager (Director)/BU Leader/ or customer.
• Make a bidding as bidding procedure.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related fields.
• Years of Experience:  5+ years' experience.
