Senior C++ Developer

SustainRecruit are currently looking for a C++ Developer to work on a project for a key client of ours in London. This is going to be a long term contract opportunity and we are looking for someone in London area who can be in office 2-3 days per week.

We are looking for someone who has skills in the following:

• Strong professional experience in modern C++, ideally C++17 or C++20.
• Production C++ experience in trading, market data, exchange connectivity, execution, DMA, OMS, EMS, systematic trading, HFT, market-making or related financial markets environments.
• Strong Linux systems engineering experience.
• Practical understanding of object lifetime, memory management, move semantics, RAII, templates and concurrency.
• Experience with performance-sensitive, low-latency, high-throughput or real-time systems.
• Experience debugging and profiling production systems.
• Familiarity with CMake, Git and standard modern build/test workflows.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly and practically.
