What You Will Do

This Engineering Team is responsible for building ultra low latency trading systems to access trading interfaces of major cryptocurrency exchanges around the world, reducing latency through algorithm and network optimization, and provides support for a large number of strategies deployed globally.

You will spearhead the development of our ultra-low latency trading infrastructure. You will be the technical anchor for a high-performing team, ensuring our systems remain the fastest and most reliable in the global crypto market.

• Lead from the Trenches: Act as the primary architect for core components of our ultra-low latency trading engines.
• Team Orchestration: Closely work with a high-performing team of engineers, conducting rigorous code reviews and ensuring the team meets aggressive delivery milestones.
• Knowledge Sharing: Elevate the team’s technical bar by sharing advanced experience and knowledge with the team, especially in modern C++ best practices and systems optimization.
• Strong Business Sense: Partner directly with Quants and Traders to translate sophisticated alpha strategies into highly optimized, production-ready code.
• Ownership: Take accountability for the stability, scalability, and performance of our global trading infrastructure.

*This position can be based in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Shanghai

Who You Are

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science
• Proficiency in C++20 and above, familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus
• Systems development experience from financial institutions, ideally buy-side/trading firms
• Familiar with the Linux environment, multithreading, TCP, UDP communication
• Experience in trading and/or risk management systems, data analysis and data mining is preferred
• Fluent in both English & Mandarin in order to communicate effectively with colleagues across different locations
• Programming contest (e.g. ACM/ICPC, NOI, etc.) experience is a plus
