Senior Cabling Installation Technician

BT Tech is currently interviewing qualified individuals for work in the tri-cities and surrounding areas. We are a rapidly growing company, looking for enthusiastic leaders who can be outstanding representations of our company in an increasingly competitive field.

Responsibilities

• Installing infrastructure cable including but not limited to: Cat 5, Cat 6, fiber, security cable, PVC jacketed cable and more
• Installing door access control systems and components
• Installing camera systems and components (being able to configure camera systems preferred)
• Installing data racks, patch panels, switches and components
• Terminate Cat 5, Cat 6 and fiber
• Knowledge of building assemblies
• Blue print reading
• Knowledge of building codes
• Using hand tools, power tools, and hammer drills
• Capable of running small 2-3 man crews and communicating with them to accomplish tasks and deadlines
• Capable of running a lift and comfortable using ladders

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Motivated self-starter with attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines
• Must have stable work history
