Role Description

Genisup is seeking a highly skilled IBM Platform LSF Consultant to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will lead the transformation of a global LSF infrastructure, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across distributed design teams.

Responsibilities

1. Architect and implement advanced LSF features such as license fair share, preemption, and cross-team license sharing.
2. Re-architect the global LSF CAD infrastructure to optimize license and machine resources.
3. Define and implement development environments for LSF enhancement, testing, and production rollout.
4. Drive automation in LSF infrastructure for resource utilization reporting and demand-supply gap analysis.
5. Develop dashboards for automatic health monitoring and proactive issue tracking.

Qualifications

1. Experience: 5 10 years in LSF infrastructure management.

Expertise:

1. Deep knowledge of IBM Platform LSF and RTM in distributed environments.
2. Strong Linux system administration skills.
3. Experience with FLEXLM and EDA license management.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages: Perl, Python, Shell.
5. Familiarity with IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
6. Knowledge of version control tools like Perforce and Methodic.
7. Understanding of EDA tool license features and use cases is a strong plus.

Academics

1. Bachelor s or Master s degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), or related fields.
