Senior C&S Engineer Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will represent our consultancy firm on client projects—leading multi-disciplinary consultant teams, managing appointed contractors, ensuring strict quality and delivery timelines, and acting as the key point of contact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Consultant Coordination

 * Lead and coordinate external design consultants (Architects, C&S, M&E, QS) to ensure aligned project deliverables.

 * Perform value engineering and design reviews to optimize cost, buildability, and schedule.

 * Track local authority submission statuses (Planning, BP, Infra, Bomba) to drive timely approvals.

2. Procurement & Tender Management

 * Assist clients in tender preparation, contract packaging, and tender documentation.

 * Lead bid evaluations, commercial analysis, and tender reports to recommend suited main contractors.

3. Site Supervision & Contract Administration

 * Manage site execution, track baseline master schedules, and resolve site technical bottlenecks proactively.

 * Enforce quality control (QA/QC), site safety protocols, and compliance with project specifications.

 * Administer construction contracts—managing Variation Orders (VOs), assessing extension of time (EOT) claims, and reviewing interim payment certificates.

 * Represent the firm at regular client, site, and consultant meetings and present clear progress reports.

4. Testing, CCC & Project Closeout

 * Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and authority joint inspections for Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).

 * Manage defect inspections, compile punch lists, and supervise contractor rectifications during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).

 * Finalize project closeout documentation including As-Built drawings, O&M manuals, and final account settlements.

Job Requirements

 * Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field.

 * Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on project management experience in consultancy environment.

* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of local authority submission processes, standard contract conditions (e.g., PAM, PWD, FIDIC), and proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera P6).

 * Core Competencies: Excellent client-management skills, strong analytical abilities, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
