Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Technician to perform vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with manufacturer standards and company procedures. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship while maintaining workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance according to job orders and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and carry out minor rectification work where required.
• Inform the Service Advisor of any additional repairs identified during servicing.
• Handle customer vehicles with care and maintain high-quality workmanship.
• Use workshop equipment and special tools correctly and ensure they are properly maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the workshop and work area.
• Complete repair work within the allocated time and update the Job Controller upon completion.
• Protect customer vehicles using appropriate protective covers during servicing.
• Return replaced parts to customers where required.
• Attend technical training and continuously improve product knowledge and technical skills.
• Assist in training and guiding junior technicians or helpers when assigned.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Technical Advisor, Service Manager, or Branch Management.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with automotive workshop experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle servicing, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to use automotive tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, disciplined, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Salary

RM2,300 – RM2,700 (Negotiable based on experience) + Performance Incentives
