Senior Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join our care home. Responsibilities

• Deliver person centered care assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management
• Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance to ensure excellent standards of care are maintained
• Develop, review, and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care and address concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation using IT systems
• Support residents’ emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful conversations and activities that promote social interaction

Experience

• Proven experience working within a care home is required
• Experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating the ability to guide and motivate a team is desirable
• Familiarity with creating and managing individual care plans
• Excellent communication skills to effectively speak with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
