Senior Carer

We’re looking for a Senior Carer to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience in care and is looking to take the next step in their career. We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable, works well as part of a team and is keen to learn and develop their skills.

The role will include:

• Assisting with completing and managing the staff rota, making sure visits are covered and carers are in the right places.
• Supporting our carers with any queries or concerns they may have.
• Carrying out staff supervisions and spot checks.
• Supporting carers with safe moving and handling practices and ensuring care is delivered safely.
• Providing hands-on care to our clients in their own homes when needed. This role isn't just office-based, so you must be happy to get out into the community and support with care visits.
• Helping with the day-to-day running of the office and working closely with the rest of the team.
• Taking part in the on-call rota, approximately one week in every three.
• Communicating with clients, families and carers to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Experience in care, ideally within domiciliary care.
• Someone who is keen to progress and take on more responsibility.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Someone who is confident working in an office but is also happy providing hands-on care.
• A good team player who is reliable, flexible and willing to help others.
• An understanding of safe moving and handling and person-centred care.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
