Senior Carer/Supervisor

DOMICILIARY (Homecare) Senior carer/supervisor.

We are looking for domiciliary care staff to join our established team. This team member or members will predominantly be working as a carer but have other duties in the field.

The position could suit a couple of part time staff sharing the responsibilities or a full time member of staff working on opposite weekends to the current on call staff member.

This position is local to Sudbury covering the area's below:

• Sudbury, Great Cornard, Acton, Great Waldingfield & Long Melford.

We are keen to recruit trustworthy, reliable and above all COMPASSIONATE staff with a caring nature to deliver care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. We would like staff in this position to be experienced in care and fully understand the demands of domiciliary care but experience in a senior position is not essential. Experience of ACCESS care planning software a benefit.

Between £13.50 M-F & £15.25 at weekends, £16.50 at bank holidays plus 50p per hour travel allowance. Rate dependent on experience and qualifications for the position.

Due to the area we cover and the importance of the position the ideal candidate will be a driver with their own form of transport, walking or cycling would not be practical in this instance.

We ask all carers to work alternate weekends and this position would come with the responsibility of being on call on their weekend on.

Other duties will include:

• Rota Generation
• Rota Changes - to cover holidays or sickness
• Family and social professional meetings such as OT reviews and Social Worker reviews for clients.
• Spot check and post spot checks on the care team.
• Hand over to the office staff after on call periods.
• Working closely with Management.

This position would possibly suit an experienced carer looking to take the next step in their career in care.
