Senior Carpenter

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute carpentry and joinery works for exhibition stands, event setups, and temporary structures.
• Read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and measurements.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, and other materials.
• Ensure all carpentry work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Lead and guide junior carpenters and helpers on-site.
• Coordinate with the Foreman, Project Manager, and other site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Carry out finishing, modifications, repairs, and dismantling works as required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Maintain quality standards and complete work within project deadlines.
• Follow all site safety rules and company procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, installation, and dismantling of exhibition stands when required.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in events and exhibitions, preferably in exhibition stand fitting and execution.
• Strong experience in carpentry, joinery, and exhibition stand construction.
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Good knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and project schedules.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site, including during evenings, weekends, and exhibition build-up/dismantling periods when required.
• UAE experience in events and exhibitions is an advantage.

Preferred: Candidates who can join immediately and have UAE events/exhibition experience.
