Senior Cash Applications Analyst

Overview

Atrium is seeking a Senior Cash Applications Analyst to oversee payment processing, cash application, account reconciliations, and exception resolution within a shared services environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments received through ACH, wire, check, and other channels.
• Reconcile banking activity and investigate payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and account variances.
• Research recurring payment issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and banking partners.
• Prepare cash application reports, analyze payment trends, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate transaction documentation and support cash forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve payment issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of cash applications experience, including 2+ years in a role with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HighRadius experience required.
• Familiarity with banking systems, payment integrations, ACH, EFT, lockbox, remittance advice, and multi-currency payments.
• Strong Excel, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
