Job Description (JD): Senior Cataloguing Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cataloguing Executive to manage the end-to-end catalog lifecycle, ensuring accurate, enriched, and high-quality product listings across platforms. This role will take ownership of catalog creation, enrichment, category mapping, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless product onboarding and maintenance.

1. End-to-End Catalog Management

• Own the complete catalog lifecycle from SKU onboarding to publishing and maintenance
• Manage new SKU creation, existing SKU updates, and catalog changes across systems (SAP PIM Platform)
• Ensure all SKUs are live, discoverable, and aligned with business requirements
• Support catalog operations across multiple BUs (ESG, MSG, TSG, SSG), ensuring timely listing and maintenance as per business priorities

2. Category-Centric Catalog Ownership

• Act as the catalog SPOC for multiple business groups (ESG, MSG, TSG, SSG, etc.)
• Understand category-specific requirements such as:
• Product types (e.g., IT hardware, mobility devices, enterprise solutions)
• Attribute needs and taxonomy depth
• Compliance and enrichment expectations
• Ensure uniform catalog standards while handling category-specific variations

3. Category Mapping & Taxonomy Management

• Map products accurately into defined category hierarchies (L0L5) across all business groups
• Handle cross-category mapping, reclassification, and dual tagging use cases (e.g., products spanning multiple categories)
• Ensure taxonomy consistency across ESG, MSG, TSG, SSG to enable better discoverability and analytics
• Align catalog structure with business-defined category frameworks

4. Data Enrichment & Quality Control (Category Focused)

• Ensure enriched product content tailored to each category:
• Technical-heavy enrichment for ESG/TSG
• Consumer-focused enrichment for MSG
• Maintain attribute completeness and relevance per category standards
• Drive category-wise quality benchmarks and data score tracking

5. Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with:
• Category Managers (CMs)
• Product Groups (PGs)
• Vendors and suppliers
• Tech teams (PIM / platform / integration teams)
• Ensure timely collection of product data, images, and assets
• Act as the single point of contact for catalog readiness before campaigns
• Support campaign readiness by ensuring SKUs are live before launch
• Work closely with BU stakeholders (ESG, MSG, TSG, SSG teams) to align catalog priorities and timelines

6. Catalog Health & Reporting

• Track and report on:
• Catalog completeness
• Data quality score
• Missing attributes / errors
• Listing gaps
• Generate dashboards and reports for business visibility
• Ensure continuous monitoring of catalog pipeline and backlog
• Provide BU-level visibility on catalog health, readiness, and gaps
