Category Manager – Indirect Procurement

My client is building a team of exceptional procurement professionals who can find savings—and then personally go capture them. We’re looking for Procurement Subject Matter Experts with deep expertise in one or more indirect spend categories who want to work differently.

This is primarily remote consulting work with an unusually entrepreneurial compensation opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify and execute meaningful savings opportunities

• Personally negotiate with suppliers and challenge incumbent pricing

• Lead competitive sourcing and contract restructuring

• Work across IT/telecom, HR/benefits, marketing, corporate services, logistics and other indirect categories

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.

• Deep expertise in at least one significant indirect spend category

• Proven ability to personally negotiate and deliver measurable savings

• Comfortable moving quickly without perfect information

• AI and technology comfortable
