Role Purpose:

This role is crucial to strategically develop product categories to drive business growth by optimizing assortment, sourcing, pricing, and inventory, while fostering strong supplier relationships to align with our business objectives.

A typical day in this Role:

• Understand market trends, identify customer preferences, forecast consumer trends, and make informed buying decisions to support Company’s O+O business growth
• Products management for achieving Company’s target on sales and margin
• Negotiating with suppliers on best offers, exclusive deals and promotional plan
• Keeping good control on stock management, assortment planning, sourcing and pricing to maximize sales opportunities for both online and offline businesses
• Working with different parties to develop and coordinate promotion campaign

Success will depend on:

• University graduate in Business Administration or related disciplines
• 5 years' buying experience in retail/FMCG, experience in electronic products is an advantage
• Dynamic, proactive and result-oriented with the ability to react quickly in the fast changing retail market
• Attentive to details and with good analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Category Officer
