Senior CCTV and IT technician

Zimbex Computers & CCTV is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior CCTV & IT Technician to join our team in Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram.

Key Responsibilities:

CCTV installation, configuration, servicing and troubleshooting

Installation and maintenance of IP and Analog CCTV systems

DVR/NVR installation, configuration and troubleshooting

IP camera configuration and remote viewing setup

Cat6 cable laying, RJ45 termination and cable testing

Basic networking: LAN, routers, switches and PoE switches

Diagnose and resolve CCTV and networking issues independently

Computer/laptop hardware troubleshooting and basic IT support

Attend customer sites for installation and service work

Communicate professionally with customers and provide proper service

Maintain tools, equipment and installation quality

Follow company procedures, safety standards and customer privacy

Requirements:

2–5 years of relevant CCTV/IT field experience

Good practical knowledge of CCTV systems and networking

Experience with IP cameras, DVR/NVR and PoE systems

Knowledge of Cat6/RJ45 termination and basic networking

Two-wheeler and valid driving licence is mandatory

Ability to travel to customer locations

Good communication and customer-handling skills

Ability to work independently and solve technical problems

Computer/laptop hardware knowledge is an advantage
