Senior Change Manager

We are building a specialist bench of senior change leaders for the Australian Federal and State Government programs across technology modernisation, AI adoption, ServiceNow, ERP, cyber and operating-model change. You will own the change strategy for a program, advise SES sponsors and bring operational leaders and frontline employees with you.

What you will do

• Set the change strategy and plan, aligned to program delivery, service design and benefits realisation

• Lead change-impact, stakeholder and readiness assessments, and act on what they show

• Advise SES sponsors and senior leaders, and manage resistance and change fatigue

• Lead the change, communications and training resources within the program

• Measure adoption, report to the program board and plan the transition into business as usual

• Apply the APS Change Framework: understand and assess change, manage stakeholder impacts, embed change into business as usual

What you will bring

• Australian citizenship and an active Australian Government security clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)

• Willing to work in Canberra on a hybrid set up

• Personally delivered change leadership

• Change management experience on AI adoption, ServiceNow, ERP, cloud, cyber or digital transformation.

• Hands-on delivery of change-impact assessments, readiness assessments, adoption measurement and benefits realisation

• Proven engagement with SES sponsors, operational leaders and frontline employees

• Prosci / ADKAR, APMG, Agile Change or an equivalent methodology

Highly regarded

• Working familiarity with the APS Change Framework

• Experience integrating change with agile delivery teams and service design

• Operating-model or workforce transition experience
