We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Chef to join our team at OHG. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef who thrives in a fast-paced venues environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and leading a kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes consistently across the venues menus.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
• Assist with menu development, seasonal specials, and food presentation.
• Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and minimise food wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented kitchen.
• Work closely with venue management to deliver an excellent customer dining experience.
• Manage kitchen workflow and maintain food quality during busy service periods.

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef, Head Chef, or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience in a pub, café, bistro, or high-volume hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and stock management.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for great food.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications are desirable.
