Senior Chef de Partie

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie at our popular beachside Bistro. We are looking for talented and dedicated staff to join our kitchen team. As a Senior CDP you will work closely with our Senior Sous Chefs to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, help develop new dishes, and lead by example in a face-paced and dynamic environment. CDP must have previous experience in a high volume kitchen. This is a full-time position.

The role:

• Consistently produce high quality cuisine both in design & taste
• Understand menu planning and importance of standard recipe compliance for quality processes and standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and customers
• You must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Provide leadership and training to our more junior kitchen staff
• Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage stock to ensure minimum wastage, ordering, rotation and proper storage

Requirements:

• 3 + years in a similar fast paced environment
• Strong communication a must
• Experience working in a busy kitchen
• Able to work according to rosters which may include weekends, days, night or public holidays.
