Senior Chemist

Calling all Color Cosmetic Chemists in NY / NJ / CA!💄💅🥼 🧪

I am partnered with two leading personal care contract manufacturing companies in the search for a Senior R&D Chemist in New Jersey and in California. These opportunities are full-time, on-site. Note, relocation assistance is NOT provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead formulation across color cosmetic categories e.g., powders (pressed and loose), lip and face makeup.
• Manage projects from brief to scale-up and troubleshoot to solve technical challenges.
• Work as part of a team of R&D Chemists from junior to senior level.
• Report to the R&D Director.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in chemistry or equivalent.
• 5+ years of formulation experience in the color cosmetics industry.
• Knowledge of color theory and shade matching.
• Fluent in English.
