Senior Civil Drafter

About the Role

This is a full-time Perth-based role, Monday through Friday on a 12-months’ contract for a major mining company. As the Senior Civil Drafter, you’ll be supporting the delivery of major mining and energy projects across all project phases, from early studies through to execution. Working closely with Engineers, Designers, and the Lead Designer, you will develop and coordinate high-quality civil drawing packages that support multi-billion-dollar projects. Key Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain civil engineering drawings using Bentley MicroStation.
• Develop coordinated drawing packages for earthworks, drainage, pavements, services, and related infrastructure works.
• Manage drawing registers, revisions, reference files, and drafting standards compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely project deliverables.
• Utilize survey, geospatial, and design data to support engineering and drafting activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ Civil Drafting experience, preferably in infrastructure or mining projects.
• Advanced MicroStation skills with strong civil design and documentation experience.
• Knowledge of roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and utilities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and technical interpretation skills.
• Experience with BIM, 12D, survey/geospatial data, and mining projects is advantageous.
• Relevant Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
