Senior Civil Engineer

1. Daily Work & Planning

Manage daily construction work according to drawings and timelines.

Set daily targets for sub-contractors and workers to keep work on schedule.

Daily Planning & Work Allocation: Conduct daily meetings with site staff/supervisors to plan, explain, and allot tasks for the next day.

Work Allotment Signature: Maintain a task register where employees must sign when work is allotted to them.

Follow-up & Completion Sign-off: Check and verify the completed tasks daily, and take the employee's signature again upon successful completion of the assigned work.

2. Client Coordination

Work closely with the client site team and update them on daily progress.

Fix any issues or feedback raised by Client engineers quickly.

3. Client Correspondence & Submissions

Prepare and submit technical documents, Method Statements, and work schedules to client for approval. Handle formal communications with cilent, including sending RFIs (Request for Inspection) and official emails/letters. Track and maintain proper records of all incoming and outgoing letters, emails, and drawing approvals from Client .

4. Work Quality

Maintain good quality work as per rules.

Fill and sign Checklists and Pour Cards before and after concreting.

Check concrete testing (Slump test and Cube test) regularly.

6. Reports & Contractor Bills

Submit daily work reports (DPR) to management.

Check site measurements on actual work done.

Guide junior engineers and site supervisors in their daily tasks.

5. Safety & Site Cleanliness

Make sure all workers wear safety gear (Helmets, Safety Belts, Shoes)

Maintain a clean and safe site environment to prevent accidents
