Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

Oversee the planning, engineering design, construction execution, and quality control of all civil and structural works for the Data Center project. Ensure all deliverables strictly comply with international Data Center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942), local building codes, budget constraints, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise soil improvement, deep foundation/piling, and heavy-duty structural concrete/steel erection designed for high floor loads (Server Racks, Chillers, Transformers, and Backup Generators)
• Implement vibration isolation and damping measures to safeguard sensitive IT equipment from structural vibrations
• Review civil and structural engineering drawings to ensure compliance with seismic resilience, flood mitigation standards, and local zoning laws
• Manage statutory submissions, building permits, and environmental approvals with relevant local authorities
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to coordinate structural penetrations, cable tray routes, and heavy equipment access pathways
• Enforce Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols for raw materials, structural testing, and subcontractor workmanship
• Direct health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on-site in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering with a valid Professional Engineering License
• 8 - 12+ years of experience in civil engineering, with proven experience leading at least heavy industrial plant, or critical infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong subcontractor management, cross-functional collaboration, contract administration
• Professional Thai and English communication skills
• Able to work at construction site.
