What they need
- Lead and supervise civil engineering and construction activities from planning through completion.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, designs, and project requirements.
- Manage site activities and ensure that construction works are executed according to approved plans, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, project teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and construction schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
- Review and evaluate contractors’ work, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Identify potential construction issues and recommend appropriate and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress reports, quantity estimates, and other project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and assist in ensuring that civil works are completed within the approved budget and timeline.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality control and inspection procedures for civil and structural works.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch listing, rectification, and project close-out activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
